Audio Guestbook Rental Agreement

Thank you for choosing Beep Box by Ahuva Events & Design. Please read this Rental Agreement carefully. By checking the agreement box during the booking process, typing your full legal name as your electronic signature, and submitting your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the terms below.

1. Reservation & Booking

A non-refundable reservation deposit of $50 is required to reserve your event date.

Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

The reservation deposit will be applied toward your total rental balance.

2. Rental Period

The audio guestbook rental is valid only for the event date and rental period listed in your booking confirmation.

3. Payment

The remaining balance is due prior to delivery or pickup unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in cancellation of your reservation.

4. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery is available for $0.70 per mile.

Mileage is calculated from Beep Box by Ahuva Events & Design's service location to the event venue.

Delivery and pickup times will be arranged prior to your event.

5. Care of Equipment

The renter accepts full responsibility for the audio guestbook and all included accessories during the rental period.

Please ensure the equipment is:

  • Protected from rain, moisture, and spills.

  • Kept away from excessive heat or cold.

  • Secured from theft or unauthorized use.

  • Handled with reasonable care.

The renter agrees not to alter, repair, or disassemble the equipment.

6. Loss or Damage

The renter accepts full responsibility for the Beep Box audio guestbook and all included accessories while the equipment is in their possession.

The renter is financially responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment beyond normal wear and tear that occurs during the rental period.

If the equipment is lost, stolen, destroyed, or returned with damage requiring repair or replacement, the renter agrees to pay:

  • The actual cost of any necessary repairs; or

  • The full replacement value of the equipment, not to exceed $250, if the equipment is deemed a total loss or is not returned.

Replacement value includes, but is not limited to, the vintage telephone, recording hardware, cords, adapters, carrying case, signage, and any accessories provided with the rental.

Normal cosmetic wear from ordinary use will not result in additional charges.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

The $50 reservation deposit is non-refundable.

Requests to reschedule are subject to availability.

If Beep Box by Ahuva Events & Design is unavailable on the requested new date, the reservation will be treated as a cancellation.

8. Audio Recordings

Following your event, your audio recordings will be transferred and delivered electronically.

Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery.

Beep Box by Ahuva Events & Design is not responsible for recordings that are incomplete, inaudible, or affected by guest misuse of the equipment, venue conditions, or user error.

9. Limitation of Liability

Every effort is made to provide equipment that is clean, functional, and ready for your event.

Beep Box by Ahuva Events & Design shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Power interruptions

  • Venue restrictions

  • Weather-related issues

  • Guest misuse

  • Accidental damage during the event

  • Unforeseen equipment malfunctions

If equipment failure is determined to be solely the responsibility of Beep Box by Ahuva Events & Design, liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the audio guestbook rental.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen emergencies.

11. Electronic Acceptance

By checking the required agreement box, typing your full legal name as your electronic signature, and submitting your reservation, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read this Rental Agreement in its entirety.

  • You understand and agree to all of its terms and conditions.

  • Your typed name constitutes your electronic signature.

  • Your electronic signature has the same force and effect as a handwritten signature.

  • You are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into this agreement.
